Fleetwood Ice Hockey Club (FIHC) is open to all boys and girls in the Fleetwood Area School District from grades 5 through 12.

 Fleetwood Ice Hockey was founded in 2012 and competes in the East Penn Scholastic Hockey League (EPSHL), which is the governing body of hockey in Berks County, and plays games against scholastic hockey teams from Berks County and its surrounding area. All scholastic games are held locally..

FIHC provides students in the Fleetwood Area School District an opportunity to play for a “home team” in the sport of scholastic ice hockey.  FIHC also serves as a “home team” for players from other districts that do not have a school district home team, at the EPSHL's discretion.

The Fleetwood Area School District does not provide any assistance to the FIHC.  We are a stand-alone organization that is recognized as a "club" by the District.

Team Level Breakdown

Middle School 5th-8th Grades
Junior Varsity: 9th-11th Grades
Varsity 10th-12th Grades

The Fees associated to participate, will vary for each level and may change per season.  The fees are set by East Penn Scholastic Hockey League (EPSHL).

Skating ability is not required but is highly recommended. If your child shows an interest in hockey and is not an experienced skater, we suggest contacting us, and we'd be more than happy to steer you in the right direction for local Learn to Skate, Learn to Play Hockey and Cross-Ice programs. ANY time spent on ice is extremely valuable and a skill that must be practiced over and over in order to improve. Young children adapt quickly and in-line hockey players make a smooth transition to ice.
