The Okauchee Youth Baseball organization offers an opportunity every summer for area boys and girls to participate in a quality youth baseball experience. In previous years, up to 450 students, representing area schools and communities like Ashippun, Neosho, Ixonia, the Town of Oconomowoc, Hartland, Nashotah, Okauchee, Oconomowoc and the Arrowhead school district participate in this program.

The program's goals are to educate players on baseball and girl's softball fundamentals, instill good sportsmanship, teach team play and to have FUN! There are no team tryouts for grades 1-6 or girl's softball.

Every team member plays in every game. The batting line-up consists of all team members regardless of whether they are playing a defensive position that inning or not. League rules also provide that every player must play a minimum of (3) innings of defense during each (6) inning game. Depending on the student's present grade in school, he/she will be placed on a team in the league consisting of only 1-2 graders, 3-4 graders, 5-6 graders, 7-8 graders and Girl's softball. ** For Sandy Koufax and OK Girl's Softball rules - contact Commissioner or team coach for specifics.**

Games are scheduled from the beginning of June to the beginning of August - including league tournament playoffs.

Grades 1-8 are provided with team shirts and caps.

Sandy Koufax Boys Grades 7/8 are provided with Full Uniforms.
