Spring Schedule to be released next week - First games will be played 1.25.15
The Spring schedule will be released next week. The first games will be played on Sunday, January 25, 2015. Games will be scheduled through Sunday, April 26, 2015. The Playoffs and additional scrimmages will be scheduled for the month of May. Ending on Sunday, May 17 or 24, 2015.

2014 Fall schedule to be built soon
The front-half of the 2014-2015 season of the NEW San Diego Area Amateur Baseball League will be built soon. We hope to have the schedule built out by August 15.
If you have expressed interest in the league, please send in your league fee ASAP.

League Policies and Rules

1. All teams in the league will have their own insurance (team AND field (if needed)).
1.1. Proof of insurance(s) should be readily available at any time.
1.2. The league is NOT liable NOR responsible for ANY occurrences before, during, or after game play.
2. The league will schedule the dates and location of games, not the time.
2.1 Both teams will confirm their game date, location, TIME and INNINGS with each other.
2.2. Confirmation of the game should be attempted and completed as soon as possible. Please do so, no later than Wednesday of the game week.
2.2.1. If a team cancels (for any reason) within 72 hours of the scheduled game time, that team will lose their refundable forfeit fee paid prior to the start of the season.
2.2.2. If either team cancels within 48 hours of the scheduled game time:
2.2.2.1. The canceling team will receive a loss and the other team will receive a win - by forfeit (score: 7-0).
2.2.2.2. If an umpire is paid, the canceling team will incur the entire umpire cost (shouldn't be more than $70 total).
2.3. The HOME Team is responsible for acquiring the umpire(s) for the game.
2.3.1. Both teams will split the cost of the umpire.
2.3.1.1 The umpire should be paid prior to the first pitch of the game.
2.4. Both teams should split the cost of field use if necessary. Home team should have field charges covered on their own accord. If not, teams should split the field usage cost.
2.4.1. If home team does not notify visiting team at time of game confirmation, visiting team is not responsible for splitting any field cost the home team asks for.
3. 14U Division ONLY
3.1. Please use BBCOR or Wood bats only.
4. The All-Star Game is meant to be fun!
4.1. Location and time is currently TBA for all levels.
4.2. Dates for each division are firm.
4.3. Players and Coaches
4.3.1. It is anticipated each team in each division will send 2-3 players to each division's All-Star Game.
4.3.1.1. Players from same team playing in All-Star Game will likely play on the same team. May change if number of players dictates a change.
4.3.2. Coaching invitations will go out to coaches of each team, in order of standings at time of All-Star Game.
4.3.3. Even if a player isn't playing, a coach isn't coaching, or a parent isn't participating, we'd love to see everyone there.
5. Game conduct
5.1. Ejections
5.1.1 Any player, coach, or fan ejected from a game will receive an automatic one game suspension.
5.1.2. Any player, coach, or fan ejected from a game a second time will be suspended for two games and will be reviewed by league commissioner.
5.1.3. Any player, coach, or fan ejected from a game a third time is automatically expelled from the league for the rest of that season.
5.1.4. Please, don't get ejected.
5.2. Umpires
5.2.1. Pay umpire in full prior to the start of the game.
5.2.2. Coaches, please speak to umpires with respect.
5.2.3. Players should not argue calls nor speak to the umpire in a negative tone.
5.2.4. As stated directly above, fans should not argue any calls nor speak to the umpire negatively.
5.2.4.1. Fans' actions are the responsibility of the head coach.

Report game scores to the Commissioner via text message or email after the conclusion of each game.
Standings will be kept for coaches, players, parents, and fans to follow.
In May, a playoff will take place, in each division.
