STUDENT PARTICIPATION - CONDUCT PENALTY

A student ejected a second time will be declared ineligible for the remainder of the season.

NOTE: Any adult, carded member, or participant who physically assaults a game or event official shall be suspended from San Gabriel Valley Junior All-American Football Conference for life.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY SGVJAAFC GAME SCHEDULING

Because of the shortage of game officials from the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), which we use in our conference, we have to schedule league games on Saturdays and Sundays, starting as early as 8:00 a.m. and going into the evening as late as 7:00 p.m.

Conference understands the commitments relating to, or devoted to religious beliefs or observances of all of the family members, the participants and to all of the volunteers involved in the youth football program. For this we apologize for the inconvenience.

HOW TO PROTECT YOUR ATHLETIC ELIGIBILITY

Your school years will be highlighted by your participation in a football athletic program. These will be some of the most enjoyable years of your young life. During this time, the San Gabriel Valley Junior All-American Football Conference has standards that you must meet in order to be eligible to compete. In addition, there may be local school standards which apply.

Information contained in this pamphlet will acquaint you with the bylaws and regulations all students must follow in order to protect athletic eligibility.

The eligibility standards of the San Gabriel Valley Junior All-American Football Conference have been adopted by member cities and were accepted by your conference representatives when it became a SGVJAAFC member.

RESIDENTIAL ELIGIBILITY

A player must play within his/her own franchise boundaries. Any franchise knowingly signing a player outside their boundaries will be assessed a fine per player and their franchise placed on probation. Place of legal residence determines player's eligibility not where participant attends school. Any player residing in a non-franchise area is a "free agent". Contact the Conference Office for information on the "free agent" rule.

COMPETING UNDER A NAME OTHER THAN YOUR OWN OR USING A FALSIFIED ADDRESS

Participant(s)/parent(s) who knowingly fail to provide complete and accurate information regarding eligibility to participate in SGVJAAFC shall be declared ineligible to represent their city franchise for one (1) year following the date of the discovery of the falsified information.
