Subscribe to our NewsletterWhat is ODP? Olympic Development Program. This program was created back in 1977 to identify players of the highest caliber which will lead to increased success for the U.S. National Teams in the international arena.
The Soccer Pit Cobras has such a player that plays for the Florida ODP U13 team that just won the Southern Regional Championship after defeating Georgia in the Regional Finals. His name is Fahad Adem and he is a 6th grade student at Immokalee Middle School. Fahad is the first player in the history of the Soccer Pit Cobras that is part of the Florida ODP program.
Two weeks ago, Fahad scored the winning goal for his U13 squad that brought the Regional Championship to Florida. Needless to say, that this is a huge honor for Fahad and his family and an honor for The Soccer Pit Cobras the club team that he represents. This young man has a great future and we can expect to hear more in the coming months.
Congratulations Fahad!!
College Bound Cobras
Our Primary goal is for players to enjoy the game, do well in school and use their academic success and soccer skills to continue their education in college. This year, eight seniors are attending college and one will attend a prestigious prep school in Connecticut. Congratulations and good luck!
