2024 Summer HS League Rules

• No new inning after 2 hours (Optional no new inning after 1hr 45min if both coaches agree at the plate meeting - must be agreed to at the plate meeting). No drop-dead rule.
• Must exchange lineups (both Varsity and Sub-varsity Games) at the plate meeting - one copy to home plate umpire, one copy to opposing coach.
• Free defensive substitutions (no reporting needed).
• Teams may bat 9, 10 or 11 players (the 10th/11th as EHs).
• NFHS Substitution and re-entry rules apply (to batting lineup only).
• Incoming seniors may only play on the Varsity team, all incoming underclassmen may play on either Varsity, Sub-varsity or both if needed. No graduated seniors may play whatsoever.
• Only incoming Sophs and younger may play the Frosh Prep league
• Mercy rule, 10 runs after 5 innings. 
• Head coach and player ejections will result in a two game suspension, assistant coach ejections will result in a three game suspension. There should be no ejections whatsoever. This is summer - (we’re talking about practice).
• Please report your scores on the website. Password is ‘Score’.
• Once schedules are published, any game schedule change should be coordinated between both coaches and then notify the league of the change.
• All other NFHS rules apply, including forfeit rules.
• Forfeits less than 48 hours prior to scheduled game incur a $50 penalty
