Batting Helmets!
Batting Helmets are required for all ages of baseball and softball.
- The addition of a facemask is required for softball players. While a couple team helmets will be made available to players, it is highly recommended that players bring their own helmet, that they do not share. Head lice has become a common problem in our school district and may be spread through sharing of head gear. You will certainly find a good selection of gear in sporting goods stores. Helmets can also be found discounted at local department stores.
Coaches should wear helmets!
- Retailers offer "Base Coach Helmets" for about $20. This is REQUIRED equipment for all Connie Mack base coaches.
