The Christopher Krassowski Award
Christopher Krassowski was a member of the 2007-08 Wayne Valley Varsity Ice Hockey TeamChris died tragically on Sunday February 8, 2008 at the age of 15. Chris was an avid hockey fan and player having played for the Wayne Hockey Club,the New Jersey Bandits and the Wayne Valley's Varsity and JV Teams.The Wayne Valley Ice Hockey Booster Club created the award in Chris' memory in March 2008.Chris' motto " Don't dream your dreams, live them" is basis for the award and was inscribed on to the trophy.Each season the Wayne Valley Ice Hockey Coaching Staff selects a senior player that lives up to Chris' mottoand demonstrates leadership, team spirit and the desire to succeedas a member of the Wayne Valley Ice Hockey Team.The Award is presented at the team's End of Season Banquet.

Lime Green and the Mayor's Cup
Lime Green was Chris Krassowski's favorite color. At the Mayor's Cup game in 2008, Wayne Valley players wore lime green tape on their helmets, sticks and uniform in Chris' honor.The tradition has continued each year.

Since Chris Krassowski's passing,
the Wayne Valley Ice Hockey Ice Hockey Team & Booster Club
has not used the uniform #2.
We hope to continue the tradition in Chris' honor for future season.
