    Hector “NICER” Nazario is one of the founding members of TATS CRU.   • Knights Gets Involved with Azalea Park LL Opening Ceremonies 2012
    ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF's baseball team will help take part in the Azalea Park Little League's Opening Ceremonies this Saturday to help players celebrate the start of a new season. The Knights will participate in a clinic with local little leaguers as well during the day, which takes place at Azalea Park on 1 Carol Avenue in Orlando from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    Spring 2011:
    Members of UCF Athletics will be at numerous little leagues' opening days during the spring to kick off the season in the community. Even though the baseball team will be at the South Alabama Classic this weekend, several of the Knights' players will be in attendance at Azalea Park this Saturday to assist with the clinic.

    The Orange County Police Athletic League is a not- for- profit- organization 501 (c) (3), that is dedicated to provide athletic, recreational and educational programs for at-risk youngsters by using law enforcement officers as coaches, mentors, officials and role models to influence children to avoid crime, drugs, gangs , violence and truancy. Through grants, donations and fund raising, PAL offers quality programs at little or no cost to families who can not otherwise afford them. These programs are made available to communities identified with high crime concerns, low income households and diverse populations. Partnering with Orange County Public Schools, PAL offers before and after school programs to over nine middle schools. The Orange County PAL staff of three deputy sheriffs organizes and coordinates these programs. All PAL employees are screened and complete a background check. This includes PAL board members. The Orange County Police Athletic League is a reputable organization that can provide reliable and affordable alternatives to help prevent juvenile delinquency. “Filling playgrounds, not prisons” is not just a PAL slogan; it is a reality for the citizens of Orange County.
