The objects of the OBA shall be in order of priority:
a) To foster and improve baseball at all levels in the Province of Ontario.
b) To protect and promote the mutual interests of the members.
c) To institute and regulate competition for the Ontario championships.
d) To institute and regulate competition for determining the Ontario representative(s) in the national or Canadian
play-offs.

Select Ontario Baseball Association (SOBA)
The Select Ontario Baseball Association, better known as SOBA, is an association that establishes, governs and mantains select baseball teams in the province of Ontario. SOBA organizes and manages team competitions for the SOBA Provincial Championships and Intact House League Provincial Championships.

Baseball Canada
Federally incorporated in 1964 as the Canadian Federation of Amateur Baseball, Baseball Canada is the national governing body for baseball in Canada and is made up of 10 provincial associations representing players, coaches and umpires nationwide. Baseball Canada is a member of both the Canadian Olympic Committee and the International Baseball Federation. It is funded and recognized by Sport Canada and Heritage Canada, and is recognized by Revenue Canada as having charitable status.
