Chester Athletic Field

Concord Ave & Lamokin Street, Chester, PA 19013

1. From I-476

Follow I-476 South to I-95S as you merge onto I-95S stay to the right and exit immediately at Exit 6, Widener/Providence Avenue Exit of I-95.
Take a left at the end of the ramp, drive through the first stop sign and after one block, take a left at the second stop sign (10th St)
go 50 feet and take a right turn at the 3rd stop sign(Morton Avenue),
travel 100 yards to the light at 9th Street, take a right on 9th. Follow 9th Street past Rte 320 and then past the Chester High School, and then past Kerlin Street(Sunoco Station),
Look for Lamokin Street on your right about 1/4 mile further. Take a right on Lamokin Street and follow it past the football field to a dead end at Concord Avenue.
Take a right at the dead end and follow Concord passing the baseball field on your right, take a right on the first side street just past the houses in Centerfield. About fifty yards in you turn right into the parking area beyond the right field fence.


2. From Philly via I-95S:

95S to the Highland Avenue Exit, (just after Rte. 322) Highland is the first ramp on a multiple ramp exit, it comes up quickly just after an overpass so slow down as you near the exit. At the end of the ramp take a
right onto Highland Ave. and follow it to 9th Street(Luke Oil on left
corner), take a left on 9th Street and go about 1.5 miles, crossing under
the bridge. Shortly after you go under the bridge you will pass a large
smoke stack on your left, Lamokin Rd is a short distance beyond the Smoke
stack on your left. Take a left on Lamokin Rd. and follow it past the
football field to a dead end. Take a right at the dead end (Concord
Avenue) and follow Concord passing the baseball field on your right, take
a right on the first side street just past the houses in Centerfield.
About fifty yards in you turn right into the parking area beyond the right
field fence.

(Only use (3.) if I-95 is a big mess, McDade can be a little difficult to
follow if you're not familiar)

3. From I-476 and avoid I-95

476 South to Exit 1, MacDade Blvd. Take a right at the end of the ramp
and follow McDade West for about 2 miles. McDade becomes 22nd Street in
Chester, when you come to an intersection with a Sunoco on the far right
corner you want to stay straight such that you pass with the Sunoco
Station on your right. About a mile after the Sunoco you will come to a
light at the bottom of a hill, take a left onto Kerlin Ave. The
intersection is marked by a Home Supply Store(closed down) on the right
and an old Gas station on the far left. Follow Kerlin 1/4 to 1/2 a mile
crossing under I-95 and take a right onto 11th Street, follow 11th Street
to Concord Avenue, bare right onto Concord, (Mosque immediately ahead on
the right) the field will be 1/4 mile on left. Just before the you pass
the field on Concord Ave. there is a side street, take a left on the side
street and then a right into the parking beyond the right field fence.

4. From Delaware:

Take 95N, Exit at Kerlin Street Exit, take right on Kerlin go one or two
blocks and take a right onto 11th Street, follow 11th Street to dead end
at Concord Avenue, bare right onto Concord, (Mosque immediately ahead on
the right) the field will be 1/4 mile on left. Just before you reach the
field there is a small street on the left 100 yards past the Mosque. take
a left onto the side street and a right into the parking area beyond the
right field fence.
