Montclair

Our home field is located in Glenfield Park. Glenfield Park is on Maple
Street in Montclair, behind/next to Glenfield Middle School, behind the
tennis courts. Feel free to arrive an hour before game time - there are two
fields and you can use the back one to warm up. The front field is
generally the game field. There is a water fountain but no snack bar. If
the field house is open, there are restrooms (but it's hit or miss). There
is a playground for younger kids close by. The first base side is in the
sun - but there is shade on the 3rd base side and large trees behind the
backstop to give some shade. There are bleachers along both 1st and 3rd
base. It can be "buggy" in the evenings.

Directions:
Maple Street intersects Bloomfield Avenue close to the Montclair/Glen Ridge
town line. There is a new, very large Fire House located on one corner,
near the Bay Street Train Station (hard to miss!) and Glenfield Middle
School on the other.

From Route 46, follow 46 East to Route 3. Exit at Grove Street (watch out -
the sign is somewhat hidden by trees. It's after the "Valley Road" exit)
and follow sign to Montclair. Travel down Grove Street about 4 miles until
you come to Bloomfield Avenue (you'll pass another ball field on Grove -
that's not us!). Make left on Bloomfield and go about 2 blocks to Maple
Street. Make a right onto Maple (you'll see the Middle School) - parking is
on the street. The fields are behind the tennis courts.

From Route 280 East - Exit at Prospect Ave/Cedar Grove (exit 8A, I believe).
Follow Prospect Avenue past "The Manor" to Bloomfield Avenue - a very large
intersection (the Exxon Station will be on your left). Make a right onto
Bloomfield and follow it through downtown Montclair until you get the Maple
Street. Make a right on Maple and you'll see the field.
