Directions to Fineview Field (North Side)


Please refer to the Map, in addition to these verbal directions, in order to get to Fineview Field, for softball games and / or practices.

It is the most quirky field in terms of getting to it, so allow yourself a little extra time until you get used to it. Also, PNC Park traffic may cause problems when the Bucs are in town, so I suggest avoiding the Stadium area if possible.

Option #1 : Take 279 to the East Ohio St exit and follow the signs to Allegheny General Hospital / North Ave . Go past AGH and take a Right on Federal St. Go up the hill to Henderson (about 100 yards up) and take a Right on Henderson . Follow Henderson up around the winding hilltop, until you come to Jay St, an abrupt, sharp Left. Go Left on Jay St, and follow up the driveway , then down the driveway, where you will find the field.

Option #2 : Follow 279 to exit 16 – Hazlett St , and take the exit on the right, winding around and across the bridge, towards Allegheny General Hospital. This will bring you out on North Ave. Then follow the above directions.

Option #3 : You can avoid the Stadium traffic by taking the Western Ave exit off 279 , and following towards AGH, this will bring you to Federal St BEFORE you reach AGH, so you will take a Left on Federal St in this case, then proceed up to Henderson, and then Jay St to the field.
