Frequently Asked Questions
For Players
Why did you pick LeagueLineup for our league website?
First, it is free. Second, although not sexy it has a ton of features, including all of the basics we need like communication team schedules, scores, and standings. It lets you subscribe to your team's schedule without having to create an account on the website.
They offer premium features if we want to pay an annual fee. One feature that would make an upgrade worthwhile is team email broadcasts. Their top of the line service also includes a player tracker. Based on the feedback on this website, we can consider upgrading.
Where is the Forum?
We disabled it. The last league website had a forum and it got pretty nasty. Not having a forum was one condition the league had to support a new website.
What is the difference between creating an account and registering?
You can create an account to have access to website features like email notifications. Registering is to register yourself as a player. This is not really necessary but can do it if you want. The website is built for kids league in which the parent would create an account website and then register one or more kids over various seasons. Your manager can still add you as a player to your team's roster even if you do not register yourself. If you do register, we will assign your to your team.
Where can I learn more about using the website?
