ART TURNER MEMORIAL

(Arthur & Catherine Turner)

Arthur Turner was born on December 28, 1923 in Pittsford, VT.  He was an avid sports fan, dedicated family man, and patriotic American Solider.   He took great pride in never missing any home town sporting event and was known as “everyone’s friend.”

Art resided in Pittsford, VT with his wife Catherine for many years before moving to Fair Haven, VT to be closer to his family and grandson’s sporting events.  He was a World War II Veteran that took great pride in serving his country.  He passed away on Dec 31^st 1998.  His wife Catherine passed away on May 2^. 2009.

This Memorial Tournament is to celebrate Arthur’s service to this country, their lives together, and how much Arthur enjoyed his basketball as well as the company that sporting events brought to his everyday life.

Arthur & Catherine are survived by their Daughter Karen Allen, Son-in-law Ed “Elmo” Allen, and Grandson
