Refund Policy Summer Program

  1. Full Refund:
    • If a participant withdraws before the program starts, they are eligible for a full refund minus a $10 administrative fee.
  2. Pro-rated Refund:
    • If a participant withdraws within the first three weeks of the program, they are eligible for a pro-rated refund based on the number of weeks program completed. The refund will be calculated as follows:
      • Withdrawal in Week 1: 75% refund of the total fee.
      • Withdrawal in Week 2: 50% refund of the total fee.
      • Withdrawal in Week 3: 25% refund of the total fee.
  3. No Refund:
    • If a participant withdraws after the end of Week 3, no refund will be given.
  4. Non-Refundable Fees:
    • Any materials or equipment fees are non-refundable once distributed.
  5. Request for Refund:
    • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the program administrator. The effective date of withdrawal is the date the written request is received.
  6. Special Circumstances:
    • In cases of severe illness or family emergency, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the program director.

 

Example Calculation:

If a participant withdraws at the end of Week 2 and the total program fee is $100:

  • Initial Fee: $100
  • Administrative Fee: $10
  • Pro-rated Refund: 50% of the remaining amount ($90), which equals $45.
