Varsity Head Coach Don Furnald Coach Furnald played his high school baseball at Rancho Cucamonga and was a two-time First Team Mt. Baldy League Selection. He received a college baseball scholarship from Cal St. Fullerton and was a Titan for one season. Coach Furnald transferred to Cal Poly Pomona and played for the Broncos for two years. He was drafted in the Ninth round by the Atlanta Braves and played professionally for two seasons. After finishing his playing career, Furnald coached at Rancho Cucamonga High School for two seasons with his father Don Furnald and head coach Sean Sullivan. Later, he continued his coaching career at Fairmont Prep Academy (Anaheim, CA) and then moved to Etiwanda in 2007. He was a varsity baseball assistant coach for three seasons and a varsity softball assistant coach for one season before accepting the varsity baseball head coaching position. He was selected as the 2011 Daily Bulletin Inland Valley Coach of the Year, while leading the Eagles to the Division 2 Championship game. In 2017, he led the Eagles to the Division 2 State and CIF Championship.  Don was named the 2017 Inland Valley Coach of the Year and CIF Division 2 Coach of the Year.  In 2022, Don led the Eagles to the Division 2 CIF Championship, was named Inland Valley Coach of the year, and NFHS California State Coach of the Year. Coach Furnald is the Athletic Director at Etiwanda High School. Don and his wife, Karla, have two children, Jacob and Lauren.

Varsity Asst. Coach Dan Meltreger
Dan Meltreger is a product of Canyon High School in Anaheim where he was an All C.I.F. selection and member of the 1984 C.I.F. championship team. Following high school, Meltreger went on to play college baseball at California Lutheran University, where he received his degree in Administration of Justice and minored in English. After graduating from college, he went on to complete both his teaching and counseling credentials, and has been teaching English and coaching high school baseball for the past 20 years. Outside of coaching, Meltreger enjoys the outdoors, hiking, rafting, watching the Angels play, and spending time with his family. Coach Meltreger currently resides in Rancho Cucamonga with his wife Margaret and their four children.

Varsity Asst. Coach Paul Gonzales
Coach Gonzales played his high school ball for the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars. In only the third year of the program, the team finished as Mt. Baldy League Champions his senior year. Gonzales was selected as an Inland Valley All Star in 1995. Coach Gonzales is in his 13th year on the varsity staff.  He currently teaches Physical Education at Heritage Intermediate School. Coach Gonzales lives in the city of Rancho Cucamonga with his wife and two children.

Varsity Asst. Coach Bob Anton
Coach Anton has coached the past eleven seasons as a Varsity Asst.   He has previous varsity coaching experience as an assistant coach at Etiwanda in the late 90's.

Coach Luque is in his seventh year as a part of the coaching staff.
