The safety of our athletes is the most important responsibility we have as an organization. We take this duty very seriously and expect all of our staff, coaches, and volunteers to take it just as seriously. Our organization requires any person over the age of 18, representing MCYSA to have PA volunteer background checks. These background checks are in the best interest of our athletes and are in place to protect them. Any person who does not provide current background checks will NOT be permitted to volunteer!

MCYSA requires two background checks:

1.     PA State Police Criminal History (PATCH system) - https://epatch.state.pa.us/Home.jsp

2.     PA Child Abuse Clearance (Child Welfare Portal) - https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home

(Create an individual account and follow the website instructions)

After finalizing your background checks you should receive an electronic form of the check (as a PDF). This is the document you will need to submit to MCYSA.
