2.      American Legion rules with the exception of any rules listed below

3.      All games will be 7 innings except:

a.       No inning may start more then 2 hours and 15 minutes after the start of the game. This rule will not apply to playoff games

b.      A 10 run mercy rule is applicable after 5 innings (4 ½ if the home team is winning).  This rule WILL apply for playoff games.

4.      A courtesy runner may be used for the pitcher of catcher only. This runner must be someone who is not/ has not been in the game. You may NOT use the same runner more than once per inning. If no players remain on the bench teams may use the player who made the last out.

5    A hitter may be (not mandatory) designated for any one starting player

(not just pitchers) and all subsequent substitutes for that player in the game.  A starting defensive player cannot be listed as the designated hitter in the starting lineup. Failure to declare a designated hitter prior to the game precludes the use of a designated hitter in that game.

10.  All protests must be handled at the time of the incident. There will be a site supervisor at each field to handle protests. The Tournament director’s decision will be final

Playoffs

After 2 games all teams will be seeded for a single elimination playoff with the #1 seed getting a bye. Teams losing on Saturday playoff games will be offered a consolation game
