NYC Middle School Cheerleading Update
Hello to all Middle School Cheerleading Coaches of NYC. The NYC Middle School Basketball League for many years before Covid-19 organized, supported and sponsored the Cheerleading events and competitions. However, after many seasons begging cheer coaches to step up and take ownership of the program the NYCMSBL had to step away from doing both as it became too much with the basketball league responsibilities. The League would love to see the Cheer Competitions return this season (generally one competition per month beginning in December at local High Schools on Saturdays) but again we need help and support. If you have a squad at your school and would like to be part of the future of this program please feel free to reach out to us.
