The American Legion Baseball Program

The American Legion Baseball Program is a national organization with more than 5,400 teams in 50 states.  The first league began operation in South Dakota in 1925.  It's purpose is to give young men an opportunity to develope their skills, personal fitness, leadership qualities, and to have fun.

District 11 is an American Legion league made up of ten teams split into two divisions: Sebastinelli's & Kay's.  

 

District 11 is one of 5 Districts that make up Region 5: Bradford-Tioga, Susquehanna, West Branch, Wyoming & District 11.

 

Region 5 is one of 7 Regions in Pennsylvania: # 2 through # 8.

 

Pennsylvania is one of 6 states that are part of the Mid-Atlantic Division: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, West Virginia & Pennsylvania.

 

The Mid-Atlantic Division is one of the 8 divisions in the Nation: Northwest, Western, Central Plains, Mid-South, Great Lakes, Southeast, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

 

 

National Tournament

Every year a National Tournament is held to determine a Champion.  Teams advance through the levels listed above.  Last year's National Champion was Brooklawn NJ Post 72.
