Head Coach - Mike Eastman (meastman@paulvi.net)

Coach Eastman is returning for his 11 year coaching at PVI.  This will be his 3rd year as head coach.  Coach Eastman wrestled and played football at Jefferson Township High School in Jefferson, New Jersey. He was all conference in both sports as a junior and senior and took 3rd in the state of New Jersey as a senior. He finished with a career record of 96-14. He attended and wrestled at George Mason University, where he was a starter as a freshman.  Coach Eastman currently works at PVI as assistant security.

Assistant Coaches:

Coach Marquee Leathers

Coach Leathers is returning to PVI for his 8th year as an assistant coach.  He wrestled for Northern High School in Durham, NC where he placed 2nd and 3rd in the state and also holds the school record for most career pins (100). Coach Leathers wrestled at George Mason University at 184 and will be working with our middle and upper weights.  He is currently a personal trainer at LA Fitness

Coach James Stanley

Coach Stanley returns to the Panther coaching staff for his 5th year.  Coach Stanley wrestled at Griswold High School in Griswold, Connecticut.  He was a 4 year started and 2x state place winner.  He wrestled at George Mason University at 157 and will be working with our upper weights.  Coach Stanley is currently a Sergeant in the Marine Corps and has been serving since 2007.

Coach Donny Baumgart

Coach Baumgart will be back for his 4th year in coaching the Panthers.  Coach Donny was a standout wrestler in high school at PVI, totaling 102 career wins and finishing top 12 at National Preps.  He graduated from Radford University in 2013 with a degree in criminal justice and currently works at TechAmerica.  He will be working with our middleweight wrestlers.
