Small town to big time: Consaul develops into ‘ace’
Though the transition was made easier by Consaul’s time with the Lady Lions, the jump to college ball was still a large one. Unlike the lineups she’d seen in her previous years on the bump, the lineups at the college level rarely feature any weak spots, which places an even larger emphasis on pitch selection and finesse, something that her battery-mate, sophomore Bethany DeMarco, works on with Consaul in practice.

Former Rochester Lady Lion - Michelle Olivieri named American East Rookie of the Week
Olivieri batted .667 (6-for-9) with three home runs and six RBI in four games last week, ranking second on the team with 15 total bases and a 1.667 slugging percentage. She also walked twice for a .727 on-base percentage. She went 1-for-2 with three runs scored in the first game of the Georgetown doubleheader, then hit two home runs in the same inning in the nightcap. She was 3-for-3 with four RBI in that game. Her third homer of the week came in the second game of the doubleheader against Albany, a two-run shot in the fourth inning that gave the Retrievers a 5-2 lead. She went 2-for-4 in the game.

Jordan Goode has signed a letter of intent to play softball for the Miami-Dad CC.
Miami-Dade is the largest NJCAA 2 year college in the nation and they are Division 1 competing in the FCCAA Sothern Conference.
