Experience is NOT necessary. What the child will need to know will be taught by our coaches. A Longhorn player will leave the field as a well rounded player, who gives respect to not only their coaches, but their team-mates as well, and their opponents. They learn to leave it all out on the field. They are not afraid of size and speed, they see it as a challenge that will push them to be a harder and better player. We abide by our motto, "RESPECT ALL, FEAR NONE". Excellence is not only expected on the field, but in their academics and home as well. We encourage doing well in their studies and making them a priority, and enforce a no pass no play rule. But above all we make sure the kids are enjoying themselves, learning self respect, and having fun. The Longhorns have always had a tradition of excellence on the field and off the field. We produce competitive teams and players year in and year out. We look forward to working with your young player and teaching him our Longhorn tradition.........HOOK'EM HORNS.
