A 2012 induction to the New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association Hall of Fame, Coach Urbano will enter his 10th year as head coach of the Woodbridge Barrons. During the summer of 2013 Coach Urbano led the Barrons to the NJABC State Championship, the first baseball state championship of any kind at WHS. He led the 2009 team to the county semi-finals and the 2010 and 2011 team to the semi-finals of the state tournament. Coach also led the team to a school record 21 wins during the 2011 season. He was formerly the head coach of Saint Joseph High School where he amassed 139 wins. Coach Urbano's teams at St. Joseph won the GMC County Tournament in 2004 and 2006 and won Red Division titles in 2001, 2004, and 2005. He was named Red Division Coach of the Year and Star Ledger Coach of the Year in 2001. He was also named Coach of the Year in the Red Division, GMC, Home News and Tribune, and Star Ledger in 2004. During the 2015 season, Coach Urbano notched his 100th victory at his alma matar, Woodbridge High School. Coach Urbano currently has 300 career wins and won the White Division Coach of the Year Award in 2016.
Tom Perry
Coach Perry will enter his 8th year as a coach on the Woodbridge H.S. Baseball Staff. He is entering his 4th season as the Varsity Assistant Coach. Coach Perry was an assistant coach on the 2013 NJABC State Championship team. He has coached the previous 9 summers with the summer teams on both the junior and senior level. Coach Perry is currently a history teacher at Woodbridge High School. Coach Perry earned his undergraduate degree at Rider University. A former outfielder for the Barrons in 2001, Coach Perry is looking forward to future success at his alma matar. Coach Perry is also an Assistant Girls basketball coach at WHS.
Brian Kaelber
Coach Kaelber is entering his 1st year as a member of the Woodbridge High School Baseball Coaching Staff. He spent the past 2 spring and 3 summer seasons volunteering with the baseball program. Coach Kaelber is currently in his 5th year teaching Mathematics at Woodbridge High School. Coach Kaelber earned his undergraduate degree at DeSales University and is a graduate of Woodbridge High School. While attending WHS, Coach Kaelber was a member of the baseball team as a catcher from 2003-2006. Coach Kaelber is also an Assistant Boys Soccer Coach at WHS. Coach Kaelber is very excited for this opportunity.
Chris Grimes
Coach Grimes is currently in his 4th year teaching Math at Woodbridge High School. Coach Grimes played high school baseball for JFK from 2005-2008. He completed his undergraduate degree at Saint Peters where he also played baseball as a first baseman and outfielder. This will be Coach Grimes 4th year as a member of the Woodbridge Baseball staff and he is very excited about the opportunity. Coach Grimes is also the Boys Varsity Cross Country Coach at Woodbridge High School
Jonathan Siswo
Coach Siswo is entering his 1st year as a member of the Woodbridge High School Baseball Coaching Staff. He spent the past 4 years as an Assistant Coach at Middlesex County College. Coach Siswo is currently in his 2nd year teaching 8th Grade Mathematics at Avenel Middle School where he also coaches the Baseball and Boys Basketball teams. Coach Siswo earned his Bachelors degree at Rutgers-Camden University, where he continued his baseball career, and is a graduate of Woodbridge High School. While attending WHS, Coach Siswo was a member of the baseball team as a shortstop from 2004-2008, playing his Senior year under Coach Urbano.
