Subscribe to our NewsletterThese are the By-Laws detailing penalties from the offenses:
3.21 General: Any coach may be suspended, either temporily or permently. At this time, he will not participate in the League due to violation of the League's By-Laws.
3.22 Acts of Disbarment: A coach or other adult acting in an official Association or Team capacity shall be barred for a minimum of one (1) year from further participation in the Board of Directors, when charged with one of the actions listed below:
a. Striking or attempting to strike any Coach, Official, Spectator, or any participant in WEST TEXAS YOUTH FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION, especially manhandling, intimidating, physical or verbal abuse of a player or cheerleader.
e. Inflicting physical or verbal abuse to any player or other participant (including coaches, officals, or spectators at any League function).
3.23 Penalties & Fines Assessment: A coach or other adult acting in an official Association or Team capacity shall be fined for the following:
d. Use of inappropriate language directed towards or in the presence of players, parents, or fan.
3.24 Any coach or spectator ejected from a game will be suspended from the following game.

FINES
Failure to comply with any and all by-laws or penalties as defined by Section 3.23 will result in the following fines: 1st Offense: $75.00
2nd Offense: $150.00 and 1 game suspension
3rd Offense: $150.00 and 1 year suspension
USA FOOTBALL---HEADS UP FOOTBALL
This season WTYFA has teamed up with USA Football once again to have our coaches, Heads Up Football certified. This is the same program that the NFL uses for their coaching staffs. All of our coaches will be trained in all aspects of the game and safety of our players. Check out their website for more information. (Found in our Links tab)
