As with any physical sport, there is a risk of injury when playing football. Even with safety precautions followed to the letter, scrapes, bruises, sprains, joint dislocations, broken bones and concussions are possible. Although Eastern York Youth Football and Cheer makes a concerted effort to mitigate these potential injuries, because of the physical nature of the game, it is difficult to remove risk entirely.
