Player of the Week: Week 6

Vincent Ghant

#30 Vincent Ghant Proved himself to be the real MVP in week six of play.  As quarterback for ATD, he had very few incompletions. In their 39-0 win, Ghant threw six passing touchdowns, had 4 rushes, and moved the ball significant distances. Vincent leading his team to victory has earned him our week 6, player of the week! Congratulations Vincent!

Trevor Gilbert

 How ‘bout them Dawgs?

#10 Trevor Gilbert showed a stellar performance from the quarterback position in week 4 of play. Gilbert completed 15 of 20 passes, three completions resulting in touchdowns for the Dawgs. The Dawgs were showboatin’ their way to the final buzzer with the 21-7 victory. With crisp and timely passes, Gilbert led his team to their second win of the season. A great performance from Trevor and the Dawgs, earning him our week 4 – Player of the week.

Player of the Week: Week 3

Alex Livingston

#5 Alex Livingston and his team left a Brewzin’ on their opponents in Week 3 of play. In their 67-6 win over The Diablos, Alex was a devil himself on both sides of the ball. Recording five of seven pass attempts completed, one resulting in a touchdown to contribute to their lead.  Defensively, Alex logged two sacks, and two interceptions. Both of his picks were taken back, adding insult to injury.  

This stellar performance has earned him Week 3, POTW!

Player of the Week: Week 2

Chad Cannon

Week two is complete and another awesome week of football is in the books!

Preferred Mulch shredded their competition this week 34-0. Quarterback, and our Player Of The Week, #12 Chad Cannon lead the charge with 10/14 passes completed, two of them resulting in touchdowns. Chad was more than a Cannon of an arm as he found his way to the end zone with two of his six rushes.  An overall outstanding performance from Chad and the Mulch.

Player of the Week: Week 1

Andre Stephens

#11 Andre Stephens – In the tight 12-6 ATD win over the Owls, Andre Stephens (ATD) is our player of the week.

Andre showed impeccable defense all across the field; recording two sacks and making his presence known to offensive players. Andre played a key role in holding the owls to only one touchdown on the night. On the offensive side of the ball, Andre recorded six receptions and two touchdowns. One being the team’s first points of the season and the second one winning the game. Congratulations Andre for being the AAFFL Week One - Player of the week!
