Manger and Umpire Game Policy (LINK)
Regular Season Scheduled Games
Each organization is responsible to arrange and schedule qualified umpires for home field games, please refer to the rules.
Home team manager is required to notify the umpire, per the posted BCML rules, of any delay, cancellation or postponement.
Both teams responsible to split umpire costs, during the ground rules before each game.
Managers and umpires must review the "Manager and Umpire Policy" before or after ground rules (LINK).
Minimum number of umpires per regular season game:
8U - One
9-10 A & B - One
11-12 A & B - One
13-14 B - One
13-14 A - Two
15-19 - Two
Managers can mutually agree to increase to two umpires.
All-Star and Season Tournament Games
The BCML is responsible to arrange, schedule and pay for All-Star game umpires
The BCML is responsible to arrange and schedule End of Season Tournament game umpires
The BCML is responsible to notify the umpire and teams of any delay, cancellation or postponement.
Both teams responsible to split umpire costs, to be paid in cash just prior to the ground rules before each playoff
and the championship game.
Managers and umpires must review the "Manager and Umpire Policy" before or after ground rules (LINK).
Umpires for All-Star and Tournament Games:
8U - One
9-10 A & B - One
11-12 A & B - One
13-14 B - One for All-Star & Bracket Games. Two for Championship Series.
13-14 A - Two
15-19 - Two
