When does the season start?
Although football games do not start until September, our practice season starts the first week in August with a three-day "clinic”. At this time, the girls will meet their coaches, and begin to learn the cheers that will be used during the season.
How long is the season?
Games start in September and the season runs through mid-November.
When are the games?
Most games are played on Sundays and can start anytime from 9:00 am until 3:00. Some games are also played on Friday nights and Saturdays. The initial schedule for the season does not come out until the first week in September and changes are made to the schedule during the season.
When and where do we practice?
The coach plans the practice times and days. As all the coaches are volunteers, we appreciate any time they can give us. Usually practice is once or twice a week. Summer practice takes place at the Jerusalem Ave. Boces School, on Jerusalem Ave. between Bellmore Ave and Newbridge Rd. Starting after Labor Day, practices take place at Newbridge Road Park on the field next to the skating rink.
What do we wear for practice?
Shorts & tee shirts when weather permits; loose comfortable clothes otherwise. Sneakers ALWAYS! For safety purposes, sandals, crocs or bare feet are not permitted.
Do we get uniforms?
Yes, uniforms and pom-poms are distributed in August for use for the games. They are to be returned (CLEAN) when the season ends. Also, white sneakers are to be worn with the uniforms.
Where is our home field?
Our home field is at Newbridge Road Park, in Bellmore.

How are the squads determined?
Squads are put together based on age. If there is more than one squad per age group we try to keep the common schools together.
Can siblings be on the same squad?
As long as the age difference is relatively close, although we frown upon moving a 5/6 year old up. This is looked at on a case-by-case basis.
