Central Florida Youth Football League (CFYFL)
The CFYFL is a family-oriented league whose goal is to involve participants' entire family in all events and activities held year-round, culminating in the league, regional and national championships. Uniquely, the CFYFL has established alliances with Central Florida high schools to become their exclusive feeder-programs, focusing on player development both on the field and in the classroom. The league promotes sportsmanship and fair play for all.
The CFYFL maintains scholastic requirements for all football and cheer participants and holds all participants to its five core values: Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Servant-Leadership, and Sportsmanship.
We offer both Spring and Fall seasons to our football and cheer participants.
American Youth Football (AYF)
AYF is an independent 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation that provides support services, training, scholarships, grants, community programs and tournaments to over 1 million members in 50 states and several countries worldwide. AYF is committed to giving back, and since its inception in 1996, has donated over $15 million dollars in grants and athletic products to communities that support youth football. AYF was the first national organization to offer all-inclusive football divisions, enabling every child an opportunity to play.
"One athlete of character will improve a team. One team of character will improve a school. One school of character can impact an entire community."
- Bruce Brown, NAIA Special Presenter
OUR 5 CORE VALUES
Respect
Those associated with sport show respect by treating themselves, other persons, institutions and their sport according to the highest standards of conduct. It implies civilized and gracious behavior to players, coaches, fans and parents.
Responsibility
Athletes show responsibility by making academic progress toward graduation their top priority. They solve problems rather than make excuses, and are reliable team players. Students should be accountable for their actions and decisions, and coaches and administrators should maintain high standards of competence and conduct.
Integrity
For student competitors and their coaches, integrity means keeping commitments and conducting honest behavior. Coaches must subscribe to and practice the Coaches Code and Code of Ethics and student athletes must know and understand the Champions of Character Student-Athlete Pledge.
Servant-Leadership
This core value refers to putting the group first and becoming responsible for personal and group roles while performing at your best. Students demonstrating servant leadership have a primary purpose of serving others while striving to become a personal and team leader. The servant-leader provides a critical service to society and the great gift of good example.
Sportsmanship
The conduct of educational sports according to the highest standards is our expectation for sportsmanship. Administrators, coaches, students, fans and parents are expected to act correctly even when others do not, and demonstrate fairness and equity in all contests and relationships.
MISSION STATEMENT
No Child Left Behind
Our organization will make every effort to insure that every child with the desire to participate gets the opportunity. We are committed to instilling honesty, loyalty, integrity, teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, respect, leadership, trust, and commitment in our young participants.
We believe these values and virtues are important to their growth in becoming positive forces in our community. We will instill in our youth the challenge of competition, the joy of victory, the reality of defeat and the spirit of team work.
Our scholar athlete recognition program is to directly underscore the importance of academic achievement among athletes and by doing so it will prepare them for the challenges of High School and Collegiate environment. These goals will be achieved through our dedicated volunteers, caring parents and corporate sponsors who wish to partner with our great football and cheer program.
