Week 8 Class 3A Rankings - Salt Lake Tribune May 2nd
#1 - Juan Diego (14-4) - The Eagle are finally starting to live up to preseason expectations. They've now won eight consecutive games.
#2 - Desert Hills (11-9) - The Thunder stand alone at the top of the best baseball region in the classification and they've been consistently great against in-state opponents.
#3 - Canyon View (14-4) - The Falcons are unscathed in Region 12 play. Is that because this team is truly a force to be reckoned with, or is the overall talent in the region subpar?
#4 - Pine View (13-6) - After losing the first game of the series against Dixie, the Panthers are entering dangerous territory.
#5 - Stansbury (13-5) - Not able to play any games last week, the Stallions return to play against Park City on Monday.

#1 - Desert Hills (11-9)
#2 - Stansbury (13-5)

Week 7 Class 3A Rankings - Salt Lake Tribune April 25th
#1 - Pine View (13-5) - The Panthers had no problem with Cedar. Will Dixie, which has been reeling of late, provide a challenge in the upcoming two-game series?
#2 - Canyon View (12-4) - After their bye-week, the Falcons return to action against Juab.
#3 - Juan Diego (11-4) - Five straight wins for the Eagle sets up an intriguing Region 11 series against Logan.
#4 - Stansbury (13-5) - Dominated crosstown rival Grantsville, which was ranked No. 3 in the classification at the time, to move into the rankings.
#5 - Desert Hills (10-9) - The record is not indicative of the talent residing in the Thunder's lineup. Most of the losses occurred against higher-enrollment programs.
Week 7 Class 3A Rankings - Deseret News April 24th
#1 - Desert Hills (10-9)
#2 - Pine View (13-5)
#3 - Stansbury (13-5)
#4 - Juan Diego (11-4)
#5 - Hurricane (8-7)
Week 6 Class 3A Rankings - Salt Lake Tribune April 18th
#1 - Pine View (11-5) - Despite surprising loss against Hurricane, the Panthers are back in the top spot in time for an interesting series against Cedar.
#2 - Canyon View (12-4) - Win games and be rewarded. That's how this works. Credit the Falcons for nine straight victories. Group that success with losses from teams previously ranked higher, and Canyon View has ascended to the No. 2 spot.
#3 - Grantsville (12-3) - The Cowboys rebounded in time for a huge showdown against crosstown rival Stansbury this week.
#4 - Juan Diego (8-4) - Split series with Bear River. The 3A classification has been exposed as pretty average thus far in the season.
#5 - Dixie (10-4) - Ranked No. 1 and get swept by a team with a losing record? The Flyers are lucky they're even ranked after that performance.
Week 6 Class 3A Rankings - Deseret News April 17th
#1 - Desert Hills (8-9)
#2 - Pine View (11-5)
#3 - Dixie (10-4)
#4 - Grantsville (12-3)
#5 - Juan Diego (8-4)
Week 5 Class 3A Rankings - Salt Lake Tribune April 11th
#1 - Dixie (10-2) - The Flyers bumped their winning streak to six games with two victories against Cedar.
#2 - Pine View (9-4) - Routed Snow Canyon twice. Watch out for this team.
#3 - Juan Diego (7-3) - Handled Bear River, but lost to Class 4A's Spanish Fork.
#4 - Canyon View (9-4) - The Falcons looked impressive against Carbon.
#5 - Grantsville (10-3) - Inexcusable loss to Union sent the Cowboys tumbling down the rankings.
Week 5 Class 3A Rankings - Deseret News April 10th
#1 - Desert Hills (6-7)
#2 - Dixie (10-2)
#3 - Pine View (9-4)
#4 - Grantsville (10-3)
#5 - Juan Diego (7-3)
Week 4 Class 3A Rankings - Salt Lake Tribune April 4th
#1 - Dixie (8-2) — There is a new king atop the 3A classification for the first time this season. The Flyers have won six of seven, with the only loss against Timpanogos, to claim the top spot.
#2 - Pine View (7-4) — The demotion to No. 2 for the Panthers is more a reflection for lack of quality of wins opposed to the recent losses against California-based programs. Aside from the Pleasant Grove win, Pine View has been up-and-down.
#3 - Grantsville (9-2-1) — After two consecutive losses against Class 5A opponents, the Cowboys are looking to get back to their winning ways against Union.
#4 - Juan Diego (7-2) — The setback against Springville was ugly, but the Eagle followed suit with four straight wins.
#5 - Canyon View (6-4) — The win against Cedar did not go unnoticed. Now the Falcons need to continue winning to solidify their position in the rankings.
Week 4 Class 3A Rankings - Deseret News April 3rd
#1 - Desert Hills (5-7)
#2 - Grantsville (9-2-1)
#3 - Dixie (8-2)
#4 - Pine View (7-4)
#5 - Juan Diego (7-3)
Week 3 Class 3A Rankings - Salt Lake Tribune March 28th
#1 - Pine View (6-2) - The Panthers appear to be fully back on track. It would be difficult to place this team anywhere but the top.
#2 - Grantsville (8-1) - How about the start for the Pokes? The Cowboys should handle crosstown rival Tooele with ease this week.
#3 - Dixie (8-2) - The Flyers have strung together four straight wins against programs in higher classifications.
#4 - Cedar (7-5) - The Reds have been up and down this season, but if they can find consistency, their roster can compete with anyone in the class.
#5 - Stansbury (6-3) - The Stallions were outmatched against Pleasant Grove and Payson, but have performed adequately against opponents in their own class.
Week 3 Class 3A Rankings - Deseret News March 28th
#1 - Pine View (6-2)
#2 - Dixie (8-2)
#3 - Cedar (7-5)
#4 - Grantsville (8-1)
#5 - Desert Hills (4-4)
Week 2 Class 3A Rankings - Salt Lake Tribune March 21st
#1 - Pine View (6-2) - After two consecutive losses, Pine View knocked off Pleasant Grove, which was ranked No. 18 nationally. That's enough to keep the defending champs atop the classification.
#2 - Grantsville (7-0) - Outlasted Maple Mountain, and already has four wins against programs in higher classifications.
#3 - Stansbury (6-1) - Knocked off Dixie in St. George. The Stallions can put up runs in a hurry.
#4 - Dixie (7-2) - After their shutout loss against Timpanogos, the Flyers have reeled off three straight wins.
#5 - Cedar (4-4) - The slow start is not indicative of the talent Cedar has holstered.
