Dear Contributors and Supporters:

I am contacting you on behalf of the youth athletes that participate in the Brookline- Jamaica Plain Patriots Pop Warner program (Brookline-JP). Our program currently serves approximately 225 youth from Brookline, Jamaica Plain, and the Greater Boston community. The participants come from various backgrounds which speak to the racial and economic diversity of our program.

Recently, our Midget Division (A-Team) and Pee Wee Division (C-Team) captured the New England Region Division I Championship. This accomplishment gives them a chance to play for the national title in Orlando, Florida the week of December 8, 2013. These young student athletes have persevered and worked extremely hard to reach this accomplishment.

We are asking businesses and organizations to help the program raise funds necessary in order for the teams to participate in this rare, once in a lifetime opportunity. We currently need to raise approximately $100,000 to send both teams to Florida. This amount will cover the cost of transportation, lodging, and meals for the teams.

Donations of any amount are appreciated and are tax deductible. 100% of all monies raised will be used for the travel fund. Donations in excess of $500.00 will receive special recognition in our Annual Program Book.
