Our season begins in early August with the our football camp and ends mid November with our Banquet.
When is camp and is it mandatory?
Camp is not mandatory, however it is highly recommended. Not only does it build teamwork and promote team bonding, it helps with conditioning and skills.
When and where is practice held?
Practices are held at 34 Stage road Deerfield. Across from the main entrance to the Deerfield Fairgrounds.
The first two weeks are typically Monday through Friday 6-8. Then changing to Tue-Wed-Thurs 6-8 once school begins.
What team will my child be placed on?
Each team will consist of athletes with similar age, size and skill ability.
Where and when are games?
What gear is included and what am I responsible for?
1. The Bulldogs provide to each tackle football athlete a helmet, shoulder pads and practice jersey . You will sign an equipment agreement and will abide by the rules of equipment handling. You will also get a custom uniform jersey and pants yours to keep
2. Parents need to purchase mandatory.... cup, cleats, integrated practice pants, mouth guard.
How many fundraisers are there and I am expected to participate in them?
The Bulldogs Football and Cheer count on fundraisers to help offset the cost of registration. The fundraisers are mandatory for each family to participate in and are as follows.
1. Savers clothing drive
2. Calendar Sales
3. 2-12 packs of soda from each family for the Deerfield Fair Booth.
4. Mega Raffle.
How is my volunteer time needed?
1. Every home game we will need a “chain crew” consisting of 3 parents on the field with the down marker, chains and a score keeper.
2. Every home game we need help with set up and breakdown of the field.
3. Concession stand, signups will be emailed. Each family is asked to do at minimum one practice and a game.
4. Team moms will ask for snacks for games and also donation for coaches gifts!
