The Hayward Hawks are a member of the Independent Baseball League located in northwest Wisconsin. Through their league status the Hawks are also affiliated with the Wisconsin Baseball Association.
The Hawks were formed in 1970 and have been providing top flight baseball entertainment in the Hayward area every summer since then. The Hawks play their home games at Larry Somerville Field located just off of fifth street and just north of downtown Hayward.
