Girls Travel (Grades 1st through 8th)

Boys Travel (Grades 1st through 8th)
- This is a travel program. We are working towards becoming a part of the SJYLAX league. If we gain acceptance into the league this year, travel players must reside in the Sterling sending district or in a town that does not offer SJYLAX programming.
- Teams practice twice a week
- If we gain league status, any scheduled games will be played on Friday or Saturdays of each week, depending on age group
- PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT WILL BE REQUIRED AT THIS LEVEL
- Unlike soccer, boys' and girls' lacrosse are played very differently, with different equipment, rules, positions, and frequently with different field sizes.
- Boys play physical games with a lot of contact and are required to wear protective gear. View list of equipment requirement
- Anyone who plays competitive lacrosse must be a member of the US Lacrosse. This is a mandatory requirement by the league and your registration fee includes this membership.
***NOTE: Facilitation of this program is dependent upon registration numbers. Teams must be fully rostered in order to be accepted into the SJYLAX league. If our club is not recognized as a member of the league this year, we will work to offer a non-league play experience consisting of practices and scrimmages vs. other town teams in order to continue to provide the fundamentals of gameplay and repetition for our players.***
