There have been many great accomplishments over the years that parents have worked to achieve. Many times, the parents that worked on these projects did so knowing that their sons would very likely get to enjoy them as they would graduate before the project was completed. Listed below are just some of the great ACCOMPLISHMENTS that our past booster clubs have contributed to the Escambia High School Baseball Program.
1988
Installation of 8 ft fence around the field.
Purchase of lawn tractor to maintain field
1989
Installation of fences down left field and right field sidelines
Jugs pitching machines purchased.
1990
Purchase of lawn tractor to maintain field
1993
Field was lighted. $150,000 project completed this year.
1994
Marquee sign was installed.
1996
Jugs pitching machines purchased.
1999
3200 sq ft club house completed and furnished (started 1995)
New sprinkler system installed.
Infield re-sodded.
Computer system purchased for office.
2000
New marquee sign was installed.
Purchase of lawn tractor to maintain field
Iron Mike pitching machine purchased.
New golf cart purchased.
Three outdoor batting cages were concreted, carpeted and new netting installed.
Outfield renovated.
New wind screens and fence cap installed.
Home dugout and equipment room enlarged.
2001
Concrete and turf installed in front of dugouts and around home plate.
New foul poles installed.
Two sets of uniforms purchased.
Backstops installed for each bullpen area.
Played in national tournament, Westminister Classic.
2002
Concrete work completed around building
Permanent bleachers installed.
Pavilion (20'x30') with lighting constructed to house picnic tables.
New state of art scoreboard installed.
Roofs installed over the new permanent bleachers.
Second Iron Mike pitching machine installed.
2003
Reel mower purchased $35,000.
New rolling batting cage purchased, $3000.
New set of uniforms purchased
2004
Ivan repairs, $5,000.
2005
John Deere Infield Groomer purchased, $5,000.
John Deere Gator Utility vehicle purchased, $8000.
Purchase and installation of new commercial grill and deep fryer in concession stand.
2007
Installation of hood and fire suppression system for grill and fryer, $10,000.
2008
Construction of a multi-use indoor baseball facility, $65,000.
2009
Renovation of field lighting.
Installation of one of the tallest flagpoles for a high school complex.
2010
Purchase of new 3-wheel pitching machine, $3,300.
Brick paver program started for walkway to our indoor hitting facility.
2011
New paint on all buildings.
Two new complete sets of uniforms purchased & game pants for JV & Freshman teams, $6,300.
2012
Construction of a new hitting background in centerfield, $2,500.
Purchase of new ice machine, $1,600.
2013
Fans installed in indoor batting facility
2014
Saftey nets replaced
New John Deere Infield Groomer purchased, $10,500
