Mother's Day at Ronald McDonald House
As we did last year, the executive and their families were at Ronald McDonald House on Mother's Day, cooking up a scoff for folks who are staying there. Missing from this years event was our President Stan Linstead, who was home with the "Man Flu".
Thanks to the generosity of the guys in our league and the strength of our numbers we were able to cook up a feed of bacon, bologna, sausages, eggs, toast and pancakes, and still have enough left over to make a monetary donation to the folks at Ronald McDonald House.
Thanks everyone for the wonderful day!

Stan and Willie make donation to the "Kids Eat Smart Foundation", which will be given to Mount Pearl elementary schools for their Breakfast and Lunch programs. This has been one of our major charities for a number of years, and we hope to continue to help in years to come. Just one of great things our league is able to do due the strong membership. Good job guys!
Please see our "Charities" tab for other past and on-going programs.

Executive and family at Ronald McDonald House
On Mother's Day, May 10th, the executive and their wives were at the Ronald McDonald House to cook brunch for the families who are staying there. We would like to thank our wives who gave up their well earned morning in bed and followed us down to do what they shouldn't have been doing.... cooking and cleaning.
Thanks to the generosity of the guys in our league and the strength of our numbers we were able to cook up a feed of bacon, ham, bologna, sausages, eggs, toast and pancakes, and still have enough left over to make a monetary donation to the folks at Ronald McDonald House. We have already made arrangement to go back again next year for Mother's Day.
Thanks everyone for the wonderful day!

Next year we hope to match or even beat this total by competing in another challenge that requires no talent or skill what so ever.... kind of like how a lot of us play ball. GREAT JOB GUYS!
