Q: Who Can Participate?

A: This program is open to charted youth sport organizations who reside in New York City & Long Island.

 

Q: Do we accept team registrations?

A: Yes, we use the team registration format which ensures that players within each charter remain within that charters organization. Players Do Not play for QYFFL, they play for their respective charter who intern play within the QYFFL structure.

 

Q: How many teams can a charter have?

A: A charter may have as many teams that can be formed either within or out of a division.

 

Q: How many players are on a team?

A: The roster limits for boys divisions 5 thru 8 & all the girl divisions are 5 player minimum & 7 player maximum. The roster limits for boys divisions 9 thru 12 are 7 player minimum & 10 player maximum.

 

Q: Are there playoffs?

A: Yes. The top four teams in all divisions 8 & up will participate in a playoff week with a Championship week to follow.

 

Q: Do all flag football players need a mouth piece?

A: It is mandatory that all players wear a mouthpiece.

 

Q: How do charters register?

A: All registration is done online at the QYFFL website.

 

Q: Is there physical contact in this league?

A: This is a no-contact league, and penalties for contact will be enforced.

 

Q: How much does it cost to register with Queens Youth Flag Football League?

A: $350 per team for Boys 5 thru 8 & ALL Girl teams. $500 per team for Boys 9 thru 12.

 

Q: What is your refund policy?

A: Full refunds are only given within 7 days of registration. After 15 days of registration, only 50% of the refund will be given. No refunds are given after 30 days of registration. There will be a $10 fee applied to all refunds.
