It is the express policy of Saline Area Youth Baseball & Softball that managers and umpires shall halt all play at the first evidence of lightning. Teams should be moved to their cars or a building of safety until the storm has passed or the game is called. Should the field conditions permit and prudent conditions exist for the safety of all involved, the game may be resumed after a mandatory 30 minute delay. This policy applies to all SAYB&S sponsored teams.
