Congratulations to our 16u Div UNH Champions

Congratulations to Michigan 12u Div Champions Winter 2017

Congratulations to UNH who came out flying and applied a great deal of pressure on Maine.  They went up 2-0 in the 1st period with little pressure from Maine.  Halfway through the 2nd period Maine picked up their game not before UNH scored another.  Down 3-0 Maine finally answered in a much needed goal.  Maine answered twice more in the 3rd to tie the score 3-3.  Both teams applied pressure but it was UNH scoring halfway through the 3rd period.  Outstanding goaltending by UNH Colin Snyder saved the victory for UNH.

The Rangers got three different goal scorers and a shutout from Brayden Vargo in net to defeat the Devils 3-0 and win the 2016 Spring Ironman championship. The Devils made it to the ultimate game following a shutout of their own, defeating the Flyers 2-0. Goals by Christian Kokalenios and Matteo Manieri (his first goal of the year), combined with an impressive shutout by Brianna Vargo in goal, helped propel the Devils into their final showdown against the Rangers.

The championship game was intense right from the opening drop of the puck. The Rangers scored first on a goal by Thomas Conti, then got insurance from Ryan Zwiebel. An empty net goal in the final seconds by Jake Sendich sealed the win and the Cup for the Rangers.

Congratulations to all of our teams on a fantastic season, and a big congratulations to the Rangers for winning the Championship!

The Boston University won the Winter 2016 12U Championship with a thrilling 5-3 victory over the Quinnipiac Bobcats.  Nicholas Squasich led the way for Boston with two goals and an assist, with Ryan Lobur adding two goals and Robert Russo also tallying for BU. A hat trick for Quinnipiac's Raymond Obolsky, including a goal in the last minute of the third period, was not enough to complete the comeback. Giovanni Facchini (Quinnipiac) and Christopher Tripodi (Boston) both gave outstanding performances in goal, with both netminders making over 20 saves in their respective efforts.

Congratulations to both teams on a fantastic season, and a big congratulations to Boston for winning the championship!

The UNH Wildcats are champions of the Fall/Winter 2016 16U division after an 8-2 win over Ohio State. 2 goals by Blake Matthew and a 3-point performance from Ethan Lim led UNH to victory, while Dalton Tango made 20 saves in net for the win. Ohio State kept it close all game, but a 4-goal third period by the Wildcats proved too much for the Buckeyes, who got 38 saves from Michael Gorzynski in the loss.

Congratulations to UNH on winning the league championship!
