Dear fellow UTFL members,

It is with profound sadness that we share the sad news of Mr. Washington Brooks' passing on August 27th. 

Wash, as he was affectionately known, was in Hawaii when he faced health challenges that his wife, Carla, believes to be cardiac-related. 

Wash was a highly esteemed member of the UTFL for more than twenty years. He has left us way too soon. He was a class act and a friendly, laid-back, life-loving guy. Wash was the best teammate ever, and he will be sorely missed.

Our sincerest condolences go out to Wash's family and friends during this tough time.
