ALCOHOL & DRUG POLICY - NO ALCOHOLIC beverages or NON PRESCRIPTION DRUG will be consumed by a manager, coach, parent, or participant before or during any CSA events at ANY Gym or field. This will be considered unsportsmanlike conduct and an automatic team forfeit will occur. NO EXCEPTIONS! If alcohol or drugs by any team is present the officials will walk off the field/gym floor and the team responsible for the infraction will forfeit the game. NO WARNINGS WILL BE ISSUED!  

 

 

 PLAYER (TEAM) INSURANCE - C.S.A. Sanctioned leagues do not provide team (individual) insurance, we provide liability insurance for all townships and field owners, insured umpires and C.S.A. directors.  Any sanctioned team under C.S.A. is eligible to purchase (at their own expense) team insurance for its players at a discounted price, being you are a C.S.A. sanctioned team.  The team and leagues work directly with the insurance company to build the policy they need.

RETURNED CHECK - If we receive a returned check for a fee, you will be invoiced for the original amount of the check plus a $25 bank fee. The payment of the invoiced amount will be due within 30 days of invoice date.  If payment is not made good within 30 days you will be assessed a $5 late fee for each additional week beyond the 30 days.  In addition to the late fee you will be responsible for all collection costs incurred to collect the debt.  We will not re-submit the original check, nor will we accept another check for the re-payment. A money order or credit payment will be the only acceptable form of payment for the amount due. The offending team will lose all games (if applicable), be ejected from the tournament or league (if applicable), and placed last in the standings forfeiting all awards, points, sponsors travel money, and berths that would have been awarded.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR TEAMS & PLAYERS- Any CSA league commissioner and/or official will have the power to eject a player, coach, manager, parent or spectator and forfeit a game without warning for any conduct deemed unsportsmanlike or detrimental to the game (See Sports Code of Conduct). Any foul language will not be tolerated. Any participant assaulting an official or participant will automatically be suspended for the current season and the incident may result in legal action. Threats to officials or participants will result in multiple game or lifetime CSA suspensions. Comments such as "I will take care of you later” or "I'll meet you in the parking lot" will be considered threats and taken seriously. New Jersey law states that threating or attacking an official is subject to imprisonment.

TOURNAMENT CANCELLATION AND TEAM DROP OUTS - We understand that circumstances occur and that teams have to drop out of tournaments at times. However once your team has entered a tournament the other teams entered are counting on you being there. If circumstances occur on your team that makes you short of players due to injuries or other reasons you should notify the director of the tournament as soon as possible. No team is officially in a Tournament until their team is registered and has paid the required deposit or entry fee.   If a tournament should be canceled due to inclement weather conditions your team will be refunded within 30 days of the tournament date in full (if paying by credit card the PayPal processing fee will not be refunded) 

PAYPAL TRANSACTION FEES - CSA accepts all major credit cards through PayPal.  In order for this transaction to take place PayPal charges a 3.9% processing fee per transaction.  If a refund is needed all monies except this transaction fee will be refunded.
