The Conneaut Cannons 8u team brought home a 2nd place win for their first tournament of the season at Toledo Ohio Fast Wizards Tournament.  The girls played their hearts out in their first ever kid-pitch tournament.  Nine of our girls took to the field to bring home a 5-2 record!  The girls only gave up a total of 8 runs to other teams in all 7 games!

Congrats to our pitchers; Madison Simmerman, Kylie Shrock, Jaidyn Jordan and Madelyn Enterline on excellent pitching.  Three of these girls have never pitched a whole game before!  Super proud of them all and they made it look easy!! 

All of our girls had a WOW moments at the fields this weekend!  We had numerous home runs, fly balls caught and strike outs!  Great job CANNONS!

Cannons 8u takes 3rd place in Weirton, WV over the 4th of July.  Girls were fighters until the very end with a 5-1 total score.  Cannons made it to the semi-finals only to lose to the Champions for the entire tournament. Great job ladies!  The Conneaut Cannons 8u head to Glenshaw, Pa on July 18-19th to fight it out for another tournament!

With doubles, triples, double plays, homeruns and lots of great base running and hitting, our Conneaut Cannons 8u wins the championship at the RW Clark Tournament in Uniontown, PA on August 1-2nd.  These girls play from the heart and always go out there ready to fight from the start of the game until the last pitch!  Great job ladies!

8U Cannons finish season strong winning the Cochranton tournament

Well what a year these young ladies had.  They finished their season off strong going 3-0 at the Cochranton tournament.  These awesome little rock stars went an impressive 25-8 overall for the year.  They took home 2 championships, 2 runner-ups both at ASA sanctioned events, a third place.  All in all out of six tournaments they only had one tournament out of the top three spots, that was a fourth place finish.  I know how proud of these young ladies we all are and am looking ahead to next season as they age up to play 10u.

Congrats AGAIN to the Conneaut Cannons 8u who came home with a 3rd Place win at the Clash on the Creek Tournament in Weirton, WV over the 4th of July holiday.  Girls fought until the very end and ended in the semi finals only to lose that as our only game lost over the course of 6 games.  Great job ladies! We are always proud of you!
