About

The Calgary Slow Pitch Society (Jaycee Slo-Pitch Park) is incorporated under the laws of the Province of Alberta as a non-profit society whose objectives are to promote organized amateur softball in the Province of Alberta for all persons regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, or ancestry; to establish uniform softball rules and regulations that can be observed by all members; to educate and train in the proper skills of amateur softball play and rules by promoting organized amateur softball.

The Facility

Jaycee Slo-Pitch Park has a total of ten diamonds, all conveniently located between McKnight Blvd. and 32nd Ave NE. Since opening its doors in 1986, this venue has been host to countless tournaments and nightly league play. Folks looking for a well set-up location to hold their slo-pitch games need only give the park a call at the beginning of the season.

Family Fun

While most of the games played here are by adults, the facility is family friendly. We make it easy to keep an eye on your kids with the well-positioned playgrounds. The kids can keep occupied with their peers, yet still be within ear shot and in clear view of their parents. There is a playground located in each of the three pods. Pets and your four-legged members of the family need to be left at home.

Refreshments

Jaycee Slo-Pitch Park has a concession at all three pods that serves up all of our customer's ball park favorites. Choose from hotdogs, hamburgers, sandwiches, dry ribs, wraps, taco bags, chips, chocolate bars, and other assorted snacks and food items. Your meals can be washed down with a variety of pops, water, or your favorite brand of beer and hi-balls are available.

Nightly Play (Leagues & Tournaments)

League play runs Sunday through Thursday nights at the park. League teams interested in joining one of the leagues, please contact cmlc@outlook.com and we'll help make arrangements to get your team a place to play.

Tournaments usually run Fridays through Sundays, from May 1st until the end of September. Tournament booking requests are required by the third Monday of January each year. Notification of booking approval by the third Monday of February, unless hosted or co-hosted by jaycee slo-pitch park in which approval will be third Monday of January... All bookings are first come first serve, please contact jayceeparkcalgary@outlook.com.
