Subscribe to our NewsletterSince 1990 many players have worn the KH on their helmets. A select few have gone on to distinguish themselves after their days at Devonaire Park were over. Although they have gone on to many areas, they all remain WARRIORS.
The Kendall Hammocks Warriors program prides itself in helping structure the lives of these young men's with the important of academics, teamwork, leadership and also the importance of community service, in giving back to help others in our community.
Below is a partial list of names of Warriors players who have gone though our program and have succeed as young adults. Our team web site www.khwarriors.org honors and acknowledges all players success after their years with our program.
For the first time ever our program has celebrated the fact that two players Dorian Munroe and Chris Pintado who are on the University of Florida team were part of the 2006 National Championship Florida Gators team. These two players
with a different story, one has a full scholarship and one a walk-on, who has a heart of a Warrior in fighting all obstacles in getting his place as a participant on the team. Our entire Warrior Family could not be happier for these two young men as we follow their progression and determination of succeeding both on and off the field.
Jose Regalado:
Founder of the Kendall Hammocks Warriors. His vision brought Youth Football to the Kendall Hammocks Area. Jose founded the Miami Xtreme Youth Football League in 2000.
Kevin Regalado:
Scored the 1st Touchdown in history vs. Kendall Boys Club in 1989.
Patrick Thomas:
Warrior who went on to play at North Carolina State. In 2005, became the first Warrior drafted into the NFL as a 6th round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Aaron Sanchez:
Warrior who went on to be a Second Team All Dade selection from Miami Sunset. Aaron went on to play at Florida Atlantic University.
Stephen Tulloch:
Warrior was a First Team All Dade from Miami Killian who went on to North Carolina State. In 2005 was selectedMVP of the Meineke Car Care Bowl. In 2006 he was the 4th round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans. Stephen played for Tennessee, Detroit, and Philadelphia before retiring from the NFL in 2017.
Miguel Scott:
Warrior was a First Team All Dade from Miami Killian who went on to play at North Carolina State.
Mike Jenner:
Warrior from Varela High School who went on to Jacksonville University.
Dorian Munroe:
Warrior from Coral Reef was a First Team All Dade County and a Third Team All State selection in 6A. Member of the 2006 & 2008 National Champion Florida Gators. 2007 South Eastern Conference Academic Honor Roll. Selected to 'Miami-Dade County's Best Players of All Time' list by the Miami Herald.
Corey Parks:
Warrior was a member of Miami Killians 2004 6A State Championship team. Was a Second Team All Dade County selection and went on to Carson Newman College.
Marcos Castro:
Warrior from Varela High School went on to Hanover College.
Noel Samariba:
Warrior from Varela High School went on to Heidelburg College.
Jamel Tilford:
Warrior from Varela High School who went on to Golden West College in California.
Chris Pintado
Warrior from Miami Sunset was First Team All Dade County in 2005 and Second Team All State in 6A in 2005. Led Miami Sunset to first District Title in schools 26 year history. Was a 2006 Miami-Dade County Scholar Athlete for Football and Silver Knight nominee for Miami Sunset in athletics for 2006. Member of the 2006 and 2008 National Champion Florida Gators. 2007 South Eastern Conference Academic Honor Roll. Named 2008 All SEC Academic Team. Played in the 2010 Sugar Bowl vs Cincinnati.
James Kirk:
Warrior who went on to play at Felix Varela High School. James was a 2006 3rd team All Dade County Selection.
Erik Honig:
Warrior from Columbus High School went on to play at Florida International University.
Malcolm Munroe:
Warrior from Coral Reef High School went on to play at Georgia Tech. Played in the 2010 Orange Bowl vs Iowa. Played in the 2011 Sun Bowl.
Cesar Rodriguez:
Warrior from Columbus High School was 2008 1st Team All County and 2nd place Team All State. Played in Dade and Broward All Star Game recording two sacks. Went on to play at Central Michigan University.
Ryan Mesh:
Warrior from Varela High School went on to play at Methodist University.
Hosey Williams:
Former Warrior from Southridge and Southwest. Went on to play at AJA Junior College and the University of Cinncinati. Played in the 2013 Belk Bowl vs North Carolina State.
Jose Estevez:
Former Warrior from Ferguson High School went on to St. Vincent College.
John Green:
Former Warrior from Varela High School, was 2 time 'All County' and went on to play at the University of Connecticut. Played in the 2015 St. Petersburg bowl.
Steven Brady:
Former Warrior from Fergurson High School went on to play at Fort Hayes State University
Nicolas Perdomo:
Former Warrior from Arch Bishop Carroll High School was selected 2nd Team All County in 2011.
Jose Cisneros:
Coach Cisneros coached 5 Miami Xtreme Championship Teams and 3 Orange Bowl Youth Alliance Championship Teams for Kendall Hammocks. He also coached the first Pee Wee Championship Team in history of the Miami Xtreme Youth Football League.
Bobby Vega:
Former Warrior from Varela High School went on to play at Fairmont State University and Florida Institute of Technology. Became the first QB in FIT history to surpass 2100 yards in a season.
