Dear Business Owner,

                It’s that time of year again.  The start of the football season is right around the corner.  Our five teams and cheerleading squads are looking forward to another great season in 2017, but we need your business sponsorship help.

Our organization has over 100 kids (ages 5 to12) that participate each year in our football/cheerleading program.  The Hornets have a dedicated staff that prides themselves in ensuring each player is taught important life skills such as teamwork, sacrifice, responsibility, and hard work that will not only make them a good football player or cheerleader, but also a valuable member of our community.

The Hornets struggle to meet an increasing yearly budget of $20,000 a year which helps maintain our constant commitment to keeping players and cheerleaders as safe as possible.  These incurred costs include but are not limited to providing insurance and top of the line equipment.  Other teams have passed this cost on to the parents by having them pay high registration fees.  The Hornets organization would like to avoid this, as it may not allow a low income or multiple children household the chance to join. During the 2016 season, the donations received from our various sponsors allowed us to sponsor 12 participants.

                The Hornets would like to ask your business to become an official sponsor of our program.  When providing a sponsorship to the Lamar Hornets Youth Football and Cheerleaders your business will receive a tax-deductible receipt for the year-end tax season. 

Our organization is quickly reaching 50 years in our community and we would like to carry on by providing a fun and family oriented tradition with the help of your business sponsorship.
