Steering Committee
Laker Boys Lacrosse exists to provide LOHS student-athletes the opportunity to play High School lacrosse and to support Laker Head Coach Rick Gruen in both his on & off field coaching programs. Below is a current list of the positions and volunteers needed every year to operate the Club.
The Steering Committee meets monthly at LOHS and there is a standing open invitation to any Club parent to attend a meeting to learn more about getting involved with any of the below positions. There is a standing agenda at each monthly Steering Committee meeting providing an opportunity to cover all ongoing Club operations and initiatives.
More details on any position (e.g. scope of task, time involved/when during year, etc.) is available. Many positions have defined tasks and may not involved a great deal of time.

Steering Committee Meets Monthly (Except July)

LOHS Boys Lacrosse Club Board
The Steering Committee is the monthly Club meeting where operations are discussed and decided. The Club Board is primarily limited to financial and formal non-profit operational issues. The Board is composed of three officer positions (two year terms) and two at-large positions (one year terms), with all positions selected and filled by Board vote of candidates who are current and active volunteers on the Steering Committee. The at-large positions are reviewed annually in the Fall to insure key Club operations are represented and a focus of monthly Steering Committee meetings. With officer positions being two year terms, there is a period of shadowing before the end of a current volunteer's term to provide program continuity to Laker Coaches and Players.
