Trojan Heart and Pride is the new North Austin location of Heart and Pride Wrestling.  Heart and Pride Wrestling will also continue to operate out of our Leander facility at 190 North Bagdad Rd, Leander, TX 78641

The first practice was Nov. 2nd, but we are still accepting registrations for middle school only! The cost is $100.

Practice is Tuesday and Thursday at the Anderson Dance/Wrestling gym  Elementary school is 6pm to 7pm and middle school is 7pm to 8:30pm.

If you would like to register for middle school program, please email Pat Moore at : apmoore@austin.rr.com. He will send you some basic information for your first practice. Then sign-up for a USA wrestling card per the instructions below and bring a check for $100 to your first practice made out to "Heart and Pride Wrestling Club".

Everyone (2nd-8th) must also sign up for a USA wrestling card before the first practice. The cost is $55. This card allows you to compete in any USA Wrestling certified competion and also provides insurance benefits in your USA Wrestling certified practice.  Check the information below for detailed instructions about signing up for the card.

Middle School practice (6-8th grade) will run from Nov. 2nd through the State Tournament in the middle of February.

Elementary School practice is an Introduction to Wrestling course and will begin Nov. 2nd and last through December 20th.  It will consist of 12 one hour practices beginning Nov. 2nd.

Instructions for signing up for your USA Wrestling card:

For new wrestlers:

  1. Go to this url: https://www.usawmembership.com
  2. Click the create free account button (This free account will be in a parent's name!)
  3. You can then create a profile for your wrestler(s)
  4. Purchase the membership for the profile you created!  This video helps explain the steps: https://www.usawmembership.com/help/category/1/question/

For returning wrestlers:

  1. Go to this url: https://www.usawmembership.com
  2. Log in to your parent account.
  3. You should see the previously created profile for your wrestler(s).
  4. Click the renew membership button, and purchase!
