MMYFCL AGES & WEIGHTS FOR THE 2021 SEASON

The age of our players ranges from 7 to 14 years and are divided by age and weight as follows:

8U - MAX UNRESTRICTED WEIGHT: 95LBS      RED STRIPE PLAYERS: UNLIMITED

9U - MAX UNRESTRICTED WEIGHT: 110LBS      RED STRIPE PLAYERS: UNLIMITED

10U - MAX UNRESTRICTED WEIGHT: 120LBS      RED STRIPE PLAYERS: UNLIMITED

11U - MAX UNRESTRICTED WEIGHT: 135LBS      RED STRIPE PLAYERS: UNLIMITED

12U  - UNLIMITED

14U - UNLIMITED

Age determined as of August 1 of each year

All weights listed are without equipment.

MMYFCL RED STRIPE RULE (Pit Bulls thru U-14 Divisions):

The Red Stripe concept allows heavier players at lower age levels to play football with children their own age, but in a restricted role. These players may weigh over the maximum weight for an unrestricted player as specified in the chart above.  Players falling between the max unrestricted weight and the Red Stripe weight limit for that week must be marked with a red stripe (or contrasting color to helmet/pants) of tape on the front and back of their helmets, and they must play between the tackles.
